A Cozy and Joyful Start to 2025: Emily and Hayden’s Winter Wedding at Bishop Station

2025 brought us so many beautiful and joy-filled weddings, each one uniquely its own. And it all began with Emily and Hayden — the couple who kicked off our year with a February celebration at Bishop Station, wrapped in warmth, personality, and the sweetest winter charm. We were also lucky enough to coordinate their rehearsal dinner at Cooks & Soldiers, making their entire wedding weekend even more intentional and seamless.

The weekend began with the rehearsal at Bishop Station, where Emily arrived in the most stunning two-piece outfit — the top crafted from part of her mother’s wedding dress done by Gizzelle James Couturiere. It was the perfect nod to family and legacy, and truly set the tone for the heartfelt moments to come.

After walking through the ceremony, the soon-to-be newlyweds slipped away for a private drink at the bar at Cooks & Soldiers. It was a quiet pause before the festivities began. Once guests arrived, the evening turned into a relaxed gathering filled with mingling, delicious bites, and a cozy family-style dinner that created space for toasts, laughter, and connection.

Wedding day began at the Bellyard Hotel, where Emily spent her morning with the talented team from @FormalFaces. The energy was calm and giddy — the perfect blend of excitement and ease before heading to Bishop Station’s bridal suite.

Once dressed, Emily and Hayden exchanged gifts through their best man and matron of honor — It was their “new” item to wear on their wedding day!

The couple wanted to maximize on the vibe of Bishop Station and the winter, cozy feel. Their first look took place in the venue’s iconic archway, creating a romantic scene framed by the soft February light by Pourchier Photography and Content Creator : Social Hour Wedding . They also made sure their beloved dog, Riley, joined for a few photos — a moment that the couple will remember forever.

With winter weather always unpredictable, Emily and Hayden made the smart call to hold their ceremony indoors. It turned out beautifully — a harpist filled the room with soft music, the couple’s matron of honor officiated, and after the “I do,” Riley proudly ran down the aisle, earning smiles from everyone in the room.

While guests enjoyed a cozy cocktail hour complete with adorable “Riley the Dog” signage and a signature drink, our vendor team transformed the space into a glowing winter reception.

As guests found their seats, DJ Nice Entertainment played “L-O-V-E,” ushering the newlyweds into the room for their first dances. One of the most touching moments of the night was when Emily “gave away” her bouquet — not to a bridesmaid, but to her mother. There wasn’t a dry eye in the room.

Dinner was a seated, candlelit experience featuring a delicious meal by Endive Catering, dreamy florals by JLD Design, and elegant linens and tableware from Event Works. The entire reception felt warm, intimate, and timeless.

Once dinner wrapped, the dance floor immediately came alive. Guests celebrated with high energy, big smiles, and nonstop dancing.

To keep the fun going, a crowd-favorite late-night bite rolled in — a taco truck from Vice Taco Truck, paired with adorable “His and Hers” labeled Coke bottles. It was the perfect final touch to an already unforgettable night.

A Beautiful Beginning to 2025

Emily and Hayden’s wedding was filled with personal details, heartfelt moments, and the cozy charm of a perfect winter celebration. It was an honor to start our year with such a meaningful, joy-packed day — and we’ll be smiling about this one for a long time to come.

“BOOK THEM!!! Cathy & Jodi did an amazing job all weekend long! The planning process was seamless with them and having access to aisleplanner was a game changer! Trust me have them set up your rehearsal dinner spot! It was so nice waking in and having it all done and ready to go right after the rehearsal! Wedding day went seamless and they were there for anything and everything you need! Best part is you can have them bring your personal items & items you had to bring to the venue back to you the next day so you don’t have to worry about what to do with them! “(Emily-Bride)
