Biltmore Ballrooms Southern Atlanta Wedding- Kellyann and Chandler
One of the greatest joys of being a wedding planner is the time we spend truly getting to know our couples—hearing how they met, how they fell in love, and watching the beautiful relationships they share with their families and friends unfold in real time. We love helping couples discover the inspiration that shapes their ideal wedding style, connecting them with vendors who understand their personalities, and witnessing the joy on their faces as their wedding day comes to life.
Kellyann and Chandler were married in September, and we had the pleasure of joining them as partial planners beginning in February. We worked closely with both of them, as well as with Kellyann’s mom, throughout various stages of the planning process, and it was such a delight to watch their vision come together so gracefully.
On the morning of the wedding, Kellyann and her bridesmaids enjoyed hair and makeup by The Moore Agency in the bridal suite at the Loews Hotel, while Chandler and his groomsmen got ready at a nearby Airbnb. As the ceremony approached, the couple traveled separately to The Biltmore Ballrooms—one of Atlanta’s most iconic and elegant venues—for a private first look captured by Anne Catherine Photography. Their wedding party and families soon joined them for portraits around the historic property.
Inside the ballroom, the reception and cocktail hour spaces were being transformed by Blosm Designs, Endive Catering, EventWorks, and Emerald Empire Band. Amanda from Just About Love styled the BBJ linens and placed the couple’s personal details throughout the venue.
Kellyann and Chandler’s ceremony at Northside Methodist Church embraced timeless tradition. The processional featured classic selections such as “Canon in D” and “Trumpet Voluntary,” setting the tone as the wedding party and Kellyann, escorted by her father, walked down the aisle. The couple exchanged vows and rings before recessing to “Wedding March from A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” marking the start of their celebration.
Guests then made their way to the Biltmore Ballroom for the reception, gathering in the Pre-Function Room and Ballroom Foyer for cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and fun with Luxe Photobooth. Meanwhile, Kellyann and Chandler shared a quiet moment together before joining their guests.
When the ballroom doors opened, guests entered a space glowing with candlelight and adorned with green-and-white floral centerpieces by Blosm. A preset salad awaited them as Kellyann and Chandler shared their first dance as husband and wife. After dinner, the dance floor filled quickly as Emerald Empire Band kicked off an energetic set. The couple later cut their elegant white Publix wedding cake before the evening drew to a close.
As the night ended, guests stepped outside while Kellyann and Chandler enjoyed a private last dance to “Wonderful Tonight.” They then made their grand exit in a classic 1956 Bentley/Rolls Royce from Classic Elegance Cars—a perfect finish to a beautifully orchestrated day.
“"We loved working with Lauren and the JAL team! Everything turned out perfectly and we had the most wonderful day! Lauren and her team were so professional and prepared for every little thing. We can’t imagine having done the wedding planning process without Lauren. We highly recommend Lauren and the JAL team!" – Kellyann Malone
