We work exclusively for you and ensure the plans YOU have made are carried out how you envisioned. We are not just “day-of” or “month-of” coordinators. We are coordinators that want to help you find the perfect vendor team that matches your idea and budget, set you up with software that is a wedding dumping spot and create and handle all the logistics of your wedding day.

JAL was founded in 2018 and we have coordinated over 175 weddings so far! We only offer wedding coordination ( some call it partial planning) for the bride, MOB or couple who wants to plan their own wedding but would like professional guidance and support along the way and on wedding weekend. We love working at different venues, with different types of vendors and clients ! Our passion and expertise lies in the details and execution of your wedding.

Our Team

I'm Lauren, owner of Just About Love, which was created in 2018. Just About Love weddings was designed to coordinate and manage the plan you created, to alleviate stress, and provide resources so that the wedding couple can truly enjoy their big day!

The concept of the Just About Love (JAL) name is made from a combination of the first letters from my twin daughter’s names, Julia + Addison + my name, Lauren. I wanted the name of my company to have meaning.

I love happy occasions. I love to encourage couples to add a piece of their own personalities and style into their wedding. One of the things I love most about this process is the pleasure to witness the first few moments after the bride and groom become husband and wife. They can truly take it all in and soak up the moment.

My goal is to see your plan through, managing your vendors, and work with your venue to ensure the best experience for everyone.

Lauren and I have had the pleasure of working together in corporate event planning. When she asked me to join her on a new journey, I was thrilled. Wedding planning just opens up a new and exciting adventure for me.

I have had 20 years experience in the event planning industry. I’ve been fortunate enough to see much planning and hard work come to fruition.
I love weddings, with the moment the bride and groom enter the reception being my favorite. All the planning and stressing is now a “dream come true”. I look forward to working with Lauren to achieve that “dream come true” moment for you.

I’m Jodi and I joined the JAL team in spring of 2023. Lauren and I are childhood friends, as our grandparents were neighbors and best friends, we grew up seeing each other in the summers. I was previously an elementary school teacher for several years. I have lots of experience in being detail oriented, organized, and working under pressure with a positive attitude, all which has transferred to being a wedding coordinator. I have loved my time with the JAL team and our couples, making their wedding days come to life and live on as one of their favorite days. 

I can’t lie, my favorite part of the wedding is the dance party! I love seeing the different music tastes of the couples and seeing the couple and guests let loose and have a blast on the dance floor. I look forward to helping make your favorite day what you want it to be! 

I’m Amanda and I joined the JAL team in April 2021. A mutual friend connect me to Lauren and Cathy, and I am so glad they did. I have really enjoyed getting to work with couples to make sure their big day feels flawless. Coming from a project manager background, I am very used to having a lot of moving parts happen all at once. Being a very organized and detail oriented person, allows me to make sure all of the special parts of your big day are taken care of.

My favorite part about weddings is how each couple takes the day and makes it uniquely them. From take away, to centerpieces, to furry ring bearers, any detail that brings in your personalities is what makes me smile. I can’t wait to see what makes your day uniquely you!
