Lyllie and Chase’s Floral Chateau Elan Wedding

There isn’t another way to begin this blogpost about Lyllie and Chase’s wedding day other than to say everything about it was so special. These two (and their families!) thought about each and every detail from how they would spend their time getting ready to what the space would look like when it was time to celebrate. And they made sure the entire day happened at a place that’s special to them: Chateau Elan in North Georgia. This is all to say, you’re in for an absolute treat!

Lyllie and Chase each spent their mornings getting ready on the property at the Chateau Elan hotel. It provided such a beautiful natural-light-filled backdrop, which was fantastic for photos! Chase looked so happy and excited as he prepped with his dad, Lyllie’s dad, Persley, and his groomsmen. Perley even gave Chase a bottle of scotch, which Chase enjoyed while taking photos! Before it was time for the ceremony to start, Chase shared a first look with his mom. We think these photos are particularly sweet!

Nearby, Lyllie spent time with her mom and bridesmaids getting ready. All of the ladies wore custom pajamas for this fun part of the day, and we thought they were such a fun detail! Plus, we love how radiant Lyllie looked for the entire time. Once her hair and makeup was complete, Lyllie stepped into her dress for the first time on her wedding day. Then she shared a first look with her bridesmaids as well as her sweet dad, Perley, who was also sporting his own custom outfit detail—a jacket filled with photos of Lyllie throughout the years!

After all of their guests were seated, Lyllie and Chase’s wedding ceremony got underway. This was yet another light-filled space, which was so fitting for the moment! And we think the sunlight helped Lyllie and Chase’s wedding arch designed by Jessica of Design House of Flowers to shine just a little bit brighter. It was filled with shades of pink, purple, and ivory and blooms like hydrangea and roses, and it was truly a standout piece—one of the best we’ve ever seen. Another special detail about Lyllie and Chase’s ceremony was they were married by Lyllie’s uncle! He did such a wonderful job as their officiant.

The beautiful details only continued in Lyllie and Chase’s reception space. When we say it overflowed with flowers, we’re not kidding! Jessica absolutely outdid herself. There were flowers overhead, more on the tables, and even more overhead and surrounded the couple’s incredible sweetheart table. Plus, a flower wall with the couple’s last name spelled out in neon letters acted as a photo backdrop where guests captured a moment with the bride and groom prior to dinner. The details were outstanding!

During dinner, Lyllie and Chase listened to speeches by their loved ones, enjoyed a menu created by Chateau Elan’s team, and spent plenty of time on the dance floor thanks to DJ Stephen De Los Rios. Then it was time for cake! Their cake table was covered in flowers, and Chase even had a groom’s cake to honor the University of Alabama. Just before the day came to a close, Lyllie and Chase shared one final dance together alone in the ballroom.

We’re almost at a loss of words when we describe Lyllie and Chase’s wedding day. From the couple and their families to their wedding party, guests, and their details, everything absolutely shined bright for this pair. And we’re so happy Amy Arrington Photography captured every moment so beautifully.
