Brooke and Chas’s Modern, Industrial Wedding at Bishop Station

Many of our couples want to embrace modern and rustic style on their wedding days, and we always love it when they choose to celebrate at Bishop Station. It’s one of our favorite Atlanta wedding venues because it has indoor and outdoor spaces, a fantastic bridal suite, and an incredible on-site team. So, we were elated to coordinate Brooke and Chas’s October celebration.

Brooke and Chas have incredible style, and it was so much fun for us to pull together all of their details. They both chose to get ready separately with their bridesmaids and groomsmen, and Brooke and her bridesmaids spent their morning at the Epicurean Hotel—a fantastic hotel and another one of our favorite spots in Atlanta. Once everyone was ready, the bride and their wedding party traveled as two separate groups to Bishop Station.

The couple knew they didn’t want to wait to see each other until their wedding ceremony, so they planned a series of first looks. First, Brooke shared a sweet, emotional moment with her dad before she went to the courtyard of Bishop Station to see Chas for the first time. The lighting outside of the venue is beautiful (!!), which helped to make B and C’s first look even more incredible. While they were outside, they also chose to share notes with each other, and they captured some of our favorite couple’s portraits from their day, too.

Bishop Station can accommodate indoor and outdoor celebrations, and Brooke and Chas wanted to take advantage of the fantastic October weather and become husband and wife during an outdoor ceremony. Guests were seated in Bishop’s Station’s courtyard where they were able to witness the wedding party walking down the aisle (the flower girls were so adorable, and the groomsmen made us laugh!), as well as the moment when Chas spotted Brooke for the last time before becoming husband and wife.

After reciting their vows, Brooke and Chas walked back up the aisle as an officially married pair, and they stepped away once more to capture additional photos. One of the moments Brandi Sisson got on camera was when the couple saw their reception space for the first time. We always love this moment, especially when the team behind all of the details is so incredible, and it’s safe to say Brooke and Chas were thrilled!

The indoor reception space featured a mixture of long and round tables with low statement centerpieces in compotes by Maggie McKenzie, as well as stems in bud vases. String lights hung overhead, which always looks wonderful against the soaring wood beam ceilings and exposed brick walls. And there was a well-sized dance floor for everyone to enjoy, too.

Brooke, Chas, and their guests dined on a menu created by Fox Bros BBQ, and they enjoyed Argentine cookies by Belan De La Cruz as well to highlight Chas’s heritage. Of course, everyone spent plenty of time on the dance floor between the parent dances, couple’s first dance, and the party vibe that Brooke and Chas hoped to create. There was only one way for the couple’s wedding day to come to a close: They ran through a tunnel created by their guests who waved blow-up glow sticks overhead as they cheered.

Brooke and Chas’s fall wedding day was a favorite from our season. We loved their style, and we’ll forever take any opportunity to return to Bishop Station. If you’re planning a modern wedding in Atlanta, and you’re hoping to incorporate indoor and outdoor spaces with industrial style, we cannot recommend Bishop Station more highly—and we think that Brooke and Chas’s celebration proves why.

Cathy and Lauren are incredible day-of coordinators! From monthly conversations to taking over vendor communication to the day of coordinating, they made sure that every single thing was perfect and seamless. They kept everything on track and honored our special wishes for the day! They are very communicative, knowledgeable, and easy to work with! I cannot recommend them enough. Thank you for making our wedding day as easy and as fun as possible!
