Just About Love Vendor Favorites | Bishop Station with Kristin St. Hilare
Our couples definitely have favorite wedding venues in Atlanta, and one that everyone loves is Bishop Station. We’ve coordinated three weddings in 2022, four weddings there in 2023, and we have even more planned for 2024. It’s safe to say we love it as much as our brides and grooms!
Part of the reason why we think it’s so popular is because of the space itself. Downstairs, there’s a cool dark and moody bar that’s excellent for wedding parties to gather to get ready. Outside is a wonderful patio that’s as ideal for ceremonies as it is for cocktail hours. There’s lots of great angles and brick walls with greenery! Then there’s the indoor ballroom that’s most often used for receptions. It has an industrial, modern feel, and the best thing about it is you can totally customize it as it serves as a blank slate.
The other reason why we love Bishop Station is because of the people. The team at the venue are absolutely incredible—kind, creative, and always ready to go above and beyond for couples—and one person we absolutely love is venue manager Kristin St. Hilarie. So, below, we asked Kristin to share more about what she does, why she loves it, and what advice she suggests that couples keep in mind for their wedding days. Just About Love Weddings: Who are you and What do you love about what you do?
Kristin St. Hilaire: I’m Kristin St. Hilaire, and I love meeting new couples and seeing their excitement when they find a venue that is a perfect fit. I love connecting with them and working with them throughout the wedding process.
JALW: What is your favorite thing about Atlanta weddings?
KSH: I would say the diversity of couples from near and far that get married in Atlanta either because they grew up here or live here now and love our city.
JALW: What is your favorite moment on a wedding day?
KSH: Seeing all of the guests and our couple having the time of their life after all the hard work that has gone into it.
JALW: What are you most looking forward to seeing or experiencing at weddings in 2024?
KSH: More happy couples and beautiful weddings showcasing each couple’s personal touch and personality that they add to our venues.
JALW: If you could share one piece of advice with a couple currently planning their wedding, what would it be?
KSH: Don’t sweat the small stuff. Everything always comes together in the end, and you create some most special memories on your wedding day.
JALW: What is your experience or what is your favorite thing we do to help your experience on the wedding day?
KSH: You make everything seamless for us by providing us with so many details upfront. You are always a pleasure to work with—happy and calm. We love having you and your team in our venues.
JALW: What is the best way for couples to find you and get in touch with you?
KSH: I always recommend couples to follow us on Instagram. We have so many photos there. Email is typically the easiest way to reach me because I spend so much time between 9am – 5pm in face to face meetings. We’re also on Instagram at @bishopstation and @foundryatpuritanmill.
