Classic Pastel Georgian Terrace Hotel Wedding | Allie + Joel

We love beautiful flowers, delicious food, and wonderful venues. But even the very best wedding details cannot top the relationships we build with our couples, as well as those we are lucky enough to witness between our brides and grooms and their families and friends. Allie and Joel’s spring wedding was such a sweet day that had everything we adore the most.

Allie and Joel officially became husband and wife in May. They chose to celebrate both their ceremony and their reception at the incredible Georgian Terrace Hotel, which is such a pretty spot in downtown Atlanta. If you’re searching for classic architecture that looks beautiful in photos, this hotel is it!

The couple spent their wedding mornings getting ready with their bridesmaids and groomsmen. We loved watching Allie enjoy the company of her family and her girlfriends, and we especially enjoyed watching her interact with her mom. These two have the most loving mother-daughter relationship, and it was an absolute joy to watch them experience so much excitement together!

Once Allie and Joel were ready, they shared a series of first looks apart. Allie unveiled her wedding day look to her dad, grandpa, brother, and nephew for the first time, while Joel shared a moment with his mom.

Allie and Joel chose not to see each other before the ceremony, so when Allie met Joel at the top of the aisle after walking in with her dad, there was not a dry eye to be seen. No matter how many weddings we coordinate, this moment is always the one we anticipate the most!

Guests enjoyed cocktail hour as the final details were put into place inside the ballroom. Tables were decked out in crisp white linens and topped with classic low centerpieces designed by Luna Rose Floral Studio, and we still can’t get over all of the soft colors included in each one. Plus, taper candles enclosed in glass cylinders added so much romance to the look. Of course, the design was not complete without a floral-adorned elegant white wedding cake.

After everyone was invited into the space, Allie and Joel shared their first dance together. Although we always love watching our couples dance, a different moment stole the show at their wedding. Allie’s dad created a mashup of all of the videos that were captured of him dancing with Allie throughout her childhood, and he played it during their father-daughter dance. Trust us when we say, there was not a dry eye in the space!

After dining on a delicious menu created by the Georgian Terrace team, it was time for all eyes to turn to the dance floor once again. Lethal Rhythms created such a lively party, and we could tell that each and every person was having an absolute blast.

Lauren and Cathy are the BEST! I cannot recommend them enough for any bride looking for a wedding coordinator! They made the planning process so fun and are so organized and detail oriented! From the very start of the wedding planning process to the rehearsal and wedding day, they were always so helpful, responsive, and prepared! I am so very grateful that I had them as my wedding coordinators!!
