Kelly and Daniel’s Classic Spring Wedding at Country Club of the South

Just before spring officially arrived, we had the great joy of celebrating Kelly and Daniel’s wedding day. There was so much we loved about their soiree – their style, their wonderful wedding party, and how they honored their Korean heritage – and we want to pay special attention to K+D’s wedding venue, Country Club of the South. When our couples are planning classic weddings with traditional style, we’re often asked to share country clubs that don’t require our brides, grooms, or their families to be members. So, we’re happy to share Country Club of the South welcomes celebrations, membership or not!

Before Kelly walked down the aisle toward Daniel, she and her bridesmaids spent their mornings getting ready at the Hyatt Peachtree Corners. They enjoyed hair and makeup, plenty of photos, and witnessing Kelly’s first moments in her beautiful wedding dress. Then everyone joined together at the venue where Kelly and Daniel shared their first look! Because K+D always want their sweet families to be involved, Kelly and her dad also shared a first look together.

If we had to choose a favorite moment from Kelly and Daniel’s wedding day, it would have to be their wedding ceremony. Kelly and Daniel’s moms both walked down the aisle wearing traditional Korean attire (they were so excited for their moment together!), and Kelly and her dad shared plenty of moments together while Daniel waited for them at the top of the aisle. The ceremony was traditional and lead by Jason Jeong, and guests were asked to wear masks during the outdoor ceremony to keep everyone’s health and safety in check. Everything about the ceremony was beautiful, and the weather even took note!

After the ceremony, K+D briefly parted ways with their guests in order to capture additional portraits together and with their wedding party. Of course, photographer Austin of Maekoi Media joined in to capture every moment, and the grounds of Country Club of the South were beautifully on display – just another reason why we love this venue!

During the reception, Kelly and Daniel’s guests were seated together in pods, but many also safely joined together on the dance floor. Plus, Kelly and Daniel also listened to speeches given by their maid of honor and best man. They also shared dances together and with their parents. Before the night came to an official close, they had one more moment to enjoy with their guests – a sparkler exit.
